PDF to DXF converter

Portable Document Format (PDF) is a type of document created by Adobe back in 1990s. The purpose of this file format was to introduce a standard for representation of documents and other reference material in a format that is independent of application software, hardware as well as Operating System. PDF files can be opened in Adobe Acrobat Reader/Writer as well in most modern browsers like Chrome, Safari, Firefox via extensions/plug-ins.

The extension .DXF belongs to the files of the type drawing exchange format files. These are the files that store graphical data in a digital format and often the output formats of Computer Aided drawing tools. The file is used mostly for the vector image files that are rendered using the Autodesk Software tools. The file structure is based on the ASCII format and thus has a better compatibility than the native Autodesk file types. As a result of this, the file structure is quickly becoming a universal standard for the 2D/3D vector graphics apart from the other formats of Autodesk.
